All are welcome. Come as you are.

    What we believe.

    The Authority of the Bible
The Bible (sixty-six books, Genesis to Revelation) is the inspired, infallible and complete word of God. As such, it is the highest authority that instructs, defines and directs our behavior and decisions. (Psalm 19:7-11, Psalm 119:160, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Timothy 3:16-17,2 Peter 1:20-21)

The Death and Resurrection of Jesus
Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection is the eternal plan of God to provide the only means for forgiveness of sin which results in salvation for those who believe in Him. In light of this truth we trust only in Jesus for our salvation and encourage others to do the same. (Isaiah 53:5-9, John 14:6, Romans 5:6-11, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 & 16-17)

    Prayer
Prayer is our way of communicating our praises and concerns to God. As such we strive to pray before we take action as a church seeking always to discern and follow His will. (Ephesians 6:18 – 20, Philippians 4:6 & 7,1 Thessalonians 5:17,1 John 5:14 & 15)

    Evangelism
Evangelism is our effort to fulfill Christ’s command to make disciples by sharing the Gospel with those who do not know Him as Lord in the hope of winning them to Him. (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15 &16, John 4:35 & 36,2 Timothy 4:5)

Because we deeply value the above, we strive to be focused on:

    The Lordship of Christ
Christ is God in the flesh, Head of the church and our Master. We are under His authority and He directs our paths. (Proverbs 3:5; John 1:1-3, 10; Colossians 1:18)

    Meeting Needs
As a church we meet needs by praying for, visiting and supporting those going through difficult times. (Galatians 6:2; Philippians 2:4; 1Timothy 6:18; 1 John 3:17)

    Bible Teaching
We center our beliefs around the transformational teaching of scripture through regular times of Bible Study and ministry. (Romans 12:2; Colossians 3:16; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Timothy 4:1-4)

    Truth
Truth is a fundamental attribute that defines God and His Word. As a Church we strive to function in light of this. Truth will keep us from compromising Biblical principles for results. (John 1:14, 8:31-32, 14:6, 17:17; 2 Timothy 4:1-4)

Crawford Baptist Church exists to love and worship God by demonstrating His love through sharing the Gospel so others can come to faith in Christ and be discipled.

All are welcome. Come as you are.

    Youth and Children.

We're building our ministries for preschool, elementary, and middle school children to be a place where children learn about discipleship and the meaning of a Christ-centered life and, all along the way, have a lot of fun.

    Music.

God has seen fit to bless many of our members with musical gifts. We utilize a broad range of Biblically sound music in our worship services, from classic hymns to 20th century gospel to modern worship songs. We encourage everyone to join in songs and praise. We sometimes sing from hymnals, sometimes from big screens, and always from the heart.
